I live in the forest
Under the trees.
All old and mossy,
I do as please.

Phoebe loves writing and illustrating children’s books about how things really work here on earth. Using fun rhymes and compelling illustrations, she hopes to inspire youngsters to learn more about the many mysteries of science and nature and their importance to all of us who call the planet Earth home.

A retired potter and graphic designer, Phoebe lives in the forest near the Hood Canal on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, working with clay and of course, reading, writing and drawing! She is particularly interested in the interconnectivity between humans, other animals and plants, and how everything works together to form a cohesive whole.
